Just Make One Move

This stuff I’m writing about has been brewing within me for a long time. I felt like I was going to burst if I didn’t get this stuff out of me! And I was terrified to do so at first. Terrified! I came up with so many excuses in my mind, and I shied away from sharing my writing, but I had to do something to push myself.

When I made the move to get serious about writing and sharing this blog, I had to force myself to override any limiting thoughts and just do it. Writing the posts was the fun part, but sharing them with others was another. I allowed the fear of judgment to keep my light out. I had good reasons for not sharing my work, too. I kept replaying memories of being judged and criticized. I didn’t believe I could handle rejection.

But the ideas for blog posts kept coming, and I knew I had a responsibility to share them. I wasn’t thinking of these things for nothing. I’d done so much work on myself and learned a lot, and I felt I could help others whose lives were stalled out, like mine was.

I knew I had to make a move, take action, and make progress no matter what I feared. The more I wrote these blog posts, the more I realized how much it was helping me heal and feel more comfortable sharing my words. I still worry about what others think of my work, but I’m getting better at ignoring the negative thoughts.

Do something every day, even if it’s small, to achieve your goals.

When you feel yourself slipping into obscurity, remember you matter. I matter. We all matter.

Create a spark, and let it light up your entire life! Don’t stop at so-so or halfway done; illuminate what you really want. Ask yourself what you would dare to dream if you knew there were no limitations. The answer is telling you what you love and who you are.

When you feel like you can’t take one more day of drama or problems, make a move to change your life proactively.

Visualize the problems disappearing and replace them with solutions. Use your mind to find solutions, and you’ll get inspiration and ideas that will change your life for the better. See yourself living a low-key, happy day that brings you joy. If we have the ability to think negative thoughts, why wouldn’t we be able to think positive ones? Move and change your thinking.

We can choose to think better thoughts, like choosing a small-size ice cream instead of a sundae, and not beating ourselves up for having ice cream when we’re trying to lose weight. This will get us out of a negative state and flip us to thinking good, healthy thoughts.

Learning by example in a healthy environment allows one to think positively about oneself. There are tons of books and YouTube videos out there that support a healthy, happy life.  So what if we have to teach ourselves how to think better to feel better. We’re responsible for our lives now. We can’t keep blaming the past. That’s gone, and we have no control over that. We do have control over what we do today.

Move just a little, and you can change your life.

Thank you for reading this. What are some moves you can make to improve your life?

To moving,

Francesca
